I’ve seen a lot of chatter on FBA Twitter lately arguing over which Amazon business model is best: arbitrage, wholesale, or private label?

Frankly, I’ve never really understood why this is an argument.

Each of these models exist for a reason. Each with their own distinct set of advantages and drawbacks.

Arbitrage. Wholesale. Private label.

These are tools meant to be deployed depending on your situation and goals. They are not teams. They are not your identity. In fact, many successful sellers will use all three at some point.

Let’s dive into which model you should start with and when it’s time to transition.
